Katherine Rumminger grew up in Piedmont, SC and attended Wren High School. Her passion for art and creating grew throughout her primary and secondary school years. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in May 2021 and her Master of Fine Arts degree in May 2024, both from Lander University. Katherine specializes in sculpture, and she is creating a body of work that incorporates commonplace, representational forms constructed out of steel.
Katherine is enthusiastic about education and the arts. When she is not creating in the studio she enjoys traveling, attending cultural events, running, hiking, and playing tennis.
